What Is Anxiety?

Anxiety is when your mind and body begin to feel overwhelmed consciously or subconsciously to uncertainty and danger. Anxiety can be triggered by anything and cause an overwhelming sense of dread. People suffering from anxiety may perceive threat where there isn’t any. Biological make up, life experiences, parental inheritance, personality, and coping skills all play a role in ones susceptibility to anxiety.
