Enhancing Wellness – M4Y Research Project

Vancouver and Lower Mainland Multicultural Family Support Services Society (VLMFSS)

Contributed to the Enhancing Wellness – M4Y Project, a groundbreaking five-year research initiative led by VLMFSS and funded by the Ministry of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Canada. The project explores the unique experiences and service needs of immigrant women and youth who experienced violence and abuse during and following the COVID-19 pandemic.

As part of this initiative, Moments Counselling developed a comprehensive Best Practice Guideline for supporting immigrant populations through a collective cultural and trauma-informed framework, providing clinicians with practical recommendations for culturally responsive care.
