Harpreet Kang
Harpreet has worked in the helping profession for over 15 years. She holds a Masters in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care with a Specialization in Social Work. Harpreet is a certified EMDR therapist who has completed the EMDR Child Specialist Intensive Program with Ana Gomez, and she is a registered member of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
Harpreet is an open-minded, flexible, and creative therapist who brings a collaborative, client-centered approach to the therapeutic process. She works with people from all walks of life, drawing on creative methods to help clients navigate their journey with confidence and ease.
Harpreet has a deep understanding of how cultural backgrounds, values, and beliefs shape our experiences, and she brings that sensitivity to every aspect of her practice. She works closely with children, youth, and families, supporting parents in bridging the gap with their kids while helping families process trauma and navigate difficult life events. One of her passions is the intersection of collective and individualistic cultures; she helps families explore the tension between Eastern collectivist and Western individualist values, creating space for understanding on all sides.
Tajdeep Grewal
Tejdeep is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and a member of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), as well as a certified K-12 educator. She believes that finding the right therapeutic fit is an important part of the counselling process and strives to create a space where clients feel heard, supported, and gently encouraged to grow.
Tejdeep takes a person-centred and collaborative approach to therapy, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs and goals of the individual. She understands that emotions can feel overwhelming at times and that change often takes patience and self-compassion. Her work is grounded in empathy, respect, and the belief that meaningful progress can occur at each client’s own pace. Tejdeep is aware of some of the unique challenges that may be experienced by members of the South Asian community, including cultural expectations, intergenerational dynamics, and stigma around mental health. She approaches this work with cultural humility and is committed to providing a respectful, inclusive, and supportive space for individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
With experience working with children and youth in a variety of roles—including education, coaching, and school-based counselling—Tejdeep has a strong understanding of the challenges young people face today. She currently works as a counsellor in a high school and has experience supporting clients with concerns such as anxiety, identity exploration, depression, relationship difficulties, and stress.
Tejdeep values a holistic approach to mental health and believes in the connection between physical and emotional well-being. She often encourages clients to treat themselves with the same compassion and understanding they offer to others.
Her hope is to build a supportive therapeutic relationship that empowers clients to develop healthy coping skills, increase self-awareness, and create space for all emotions as part of their healing and personal growth.
